NAAF Cares About Your Health and Safety
The National Alopecia Areata Foundation cares about the health and safety of our community members as well as our partners and staff and continues to follow all CDC guidelines related to COVID-19, as well as state, local, and facility guidelines and mandates.
As it relates to NAAF’s annual conference in Washington, D.C., we continue to be aware of the pandemic and how it will be managed on site.
Currently, there are no mask requirements at our Conference hotel, the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C. We recommend that all attendees bring their own masks to wear, if they wish, during conference activities, but masks are not required at this time. We will have a limited number of surgical masks for attendees.
We will not require attendees to be vaccinated for Covid-19. We will monitor regulations and update registrants if there are changes.
We encourage all attendees to take a rapid/antigen Covid-19 test prior to and during the conference and ask that registrants monitor themselves and their young family members for Covid-19 symptoms. US residents can order free rapid tests from the federal government.
NAAF will follow the safety guidelines of the Hyatt hotel and expect all conference attendees to do the same. According to the Hyatt’s website “you can have peace of mind knowing we are taking precautionary measures across Hyatt hotels worldwide in an effort to maintain a safe environment for our guests, customers and colleagues.” You can read the Hyatt’s Commitment to Care & Cleanliness here: https://www.hyatt.com/info/care-and-cleanliness-americas
